About Madyson McGraw
Madyson was born and raised just outside of Las Vegas in Henderson, Nevada. Growing up Madyson loved stories and live music. She started performing through church on the worship team. Through that she started to work on the technical side working with audio, visual, and the logistic planning of live production. In high school she started working as a performer in theatre and fell into stage management with the production of Kiss Me Kate. During that time she fell in love with stage management.
Madyson received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Bachelors of Arts in Theatre with an emphasis in Stage Management from the University of Nevada, Reno. During her time there she worked as the stage manager on plays such as A Shero’s Journey and musicals such as Sweeney Todd,9-5,Cabaret, and Assassins. During college Madyson worked for UNR School of Music concert halls as a concert technician getting experience on audio boards, light consoles, and stage managing for orchestral and choral concerts and recitals.
During that time she was also a part of the Pride of the Sierra Wolf Pack Marching Band as a member, Section Leader, Music Librarian, and Drum Major. During her last year she was Technical Representative for the UNR Theatre and Dance Student Council, helping organize productions and events for students.
Madyson is currently located in Reno, has worked professionally for Firebird Light Opera on The Pirates of Penzance as a Stage Manager and Reno Little Theatre on POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive as an Assistant Stage Manager.
